We shall start at 10.45am at Belmont Abbey (HR2 9RZ), have lunch at Temple Bar Inn, Ewes Harold, Hereford HR2 0EU, and then continue to Dore Abbey (HR2 0AA) and St Michael and All Angels, Moccas (HR2 9LH) in the afternoon. Bring along your organ shoes and enjoy playing these three organs
By kind invitation of BOA there will be a visit to Harrison & Harrison's workshop on Tue afternoon, then attending Durham Cathedral for evensong followed by an open console lock-in. The following day the group will travel to Newcastle for playing visits to both Cathedrals in the morning and also St John's, Newcastle after lunch.
This will be a private event for WMFO and those attending need to enter Worcester Cathedral immediately after evensong at 6:00pm. Former student member, William Peart, who has played and studied Duruflé's repertoire, will be the recitalist and give a short talk before
4 July is both the date of Peeters' birth in 1903 and death in 1986. Michael Jones will provide a talk and members will contribute pieces representative of the gamut of Peeters organ compositions - and also we hope works for organ and voice, and organ and piano.
